Dates?
We do not do weddings between 24 December - up to and including
Waitangi weekend, or on Sundays our high season is February - April
Exclusive use and minimum number of guests?
When you book your wedding at the Sawmill Café you have the option of exclusive use of the venue and grounds from 12 midday (this includes 3 hours setup time),
we do have a minimum requirement of 80 guests for the full day.
There are other options available (having exclusive use from 5pm).
We prefer to tailor a quote on an individual basis, so please drop us
a line and we'll go from there.
Other accommodation?
We are happy to recommend other accommodation in our area from
back packers to Bach’s and can supply you with a list.
License?
Our liquor license goes to 1am
Wwe need all guests to vacate the premises by 1:30am
Music?
Our sound system is very good, we have cd mixers, turn tables and a mini disk player or you can bring your ipod, we are also happy to recommend good
bands and dj’s that have played at weddings here in the past.
Payment?
Full payment is required at the conclusion of the evening or by
11am the following morning, by cash, cheque or eftpos -
credit card payments will incur a further 2.5% to the final bill for bank fees.
Cancellation?
Please be aware that the deposit is non refundable. If you need to cancel
please do it with as much notice as possible, cancellations one week prior to the event will incur a 20% fee (based on total quote)
